Disney’s been around for over a century, so there’s a mountain of old merchandise floating around. Most are easy to find and not worth much, but every now and then, something shows up with a crazy price tag. These collectibles could surprise you with how much they’re worth.

The Band Concert Celluloid

An original animation cel from The Band Concert, Mickey Mouse’s first full-color cartoon from 1935, can fetch around $5,000. It's hand-painted and used in the actual production. Anything tied to Mickey’s early appearances tends to rise in value fast. This one's always been in high demand among collectors.

Original Dumbo Ride Car

In 2018, an actual elephant-shaped ride car from the Dumbo the Flying Elephant attraction at Disneyland sold at auction for $483,000, according to Reuters. It’s not a miniature replica—this was part of the ride itself. Pieces like this are rare because they’re typically retired and destroyed.

Trail Of The Unicorn Limousine Sculpture

This 1996 sculpture of Scrooge McDuck in a crazy long limo is part of the Trail of the Unicorn series. It’s big enough to cover a medium-sized dining table. One version was listed for $162,000 online. It’s heavy, limited edition, and comes from a lesser-known but pricey collection.

1956 Mickey Mouse & Goofy Comic

One original Mickey Mouse & Goofy comic book from 1956 sold for over $200,000. It’s only 10 pages long, which means each page is worth more than $20,000. Most of these were printed for less than $1, so the return on investment here is kind of mind-blowing.

Disney Store Snow Globes

Large, intricately detailed snow globes from the Disney Store—especially those sold in the 1990s and early 2000s—have become highly sought after. Designs featuring movies like Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, or The Lion King can sell for $500 to $2,000, depending on condition, size, and whether the original box is included. These were mass-produced but discontinued, and many owners don’t realize their value has climbed significantly on resale platforms like eBay and Mercari.

Fantasia Original Poster

This rare original poster for the 1940 release of Fantasia went for nearly $8,000. Posters from this era were often discarded, so surviving examples—especially in decent condition—don’t usually show up. Even less pristine versions from the same release can still fetch several hundred bucks.

Snow White Porcelain Figurines

Laurenz Capodimonte made a limited run of porcelain Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs sculptures that sell for around $2,418 each. These Made in Italy items are highly detailed and hand-painted, so don't mistake them for your average toys.

Jack Skellington Stop-Motion Heads

The original Jack Skellington puppet heads used in the 1993 stop-motion film The Nightmare Before Christmas were auctioned off in 2022. A few heads were estimated at around $1,500 apiece. Since each facial expression was a separate sculpture, collectors hunt for these one-of-a-kind pieces with serious interest.

Walt Disney Autographs On Stock Certificates

If you find a Walt Disney-signed stock certificate from the original Walt Disney Company, hang onto it. These documents have sold for over $10,000 at auctions. The signature is the key factor; it's one of the few pieces of memorabilia with Walt’s actual handwriting on it.

1930s Mickey Mouse Watch

The very first Mickey Mouse watches came out in the early 1930s and sold for $2.98. Today, if you’ve got one in good condition with the original box, it could go for $3,000 to $7,000. Ingraham and Bradley both made versions that collectors now chase.

Original Mary Poppins Movie Poster

Released in 1964, Mary Poppins was a huge success. An original U.S. theatrical release poster in good condition can go for $3,000 or more. International versions, especially those with unique art that never appeared in the American prints, can sometimes fetch more.

Haunted Mansion Stretching Room Paintings

While these aren’t mass-produced, every so often, an original stretching room painting from the Haunted Mansion ride pops up at auction. Prices vary, but one went for over $30,000. These were used in the actual attraction and are instantly recognizable to die-hard park fans.

Disneyland Club 33 Memorabilia

Club 33 is Disneyland’s most exclusive spot. Only a few thousand members exist at any given time, and their merchandise—like cufflinks, menus, or pins—is almost never sold publicly. Depending on age and rarity, some collectibles with the Club 33 logo have gone for $1,000 or more.

Pinocchio Animation Drawing

Hand-drawn sketches from the 1940 film Pinocchio have serious value, and one original pencil drawing of the character with visible animator notes sold for $6,000. These pieces were used to plan each frame and were never meant to leave the studio, so they’re hard to find.

Disney Auctions Jewelry

Back in the early 2000s, Disney Auctions offered limited-edition jewelry pieces that sold out quickly. Some of these, like gold Cinderella charms or gemstone-encrusted Mickey pendants, have skyrocketed in value. One such charm bracelet is listed online for $4,500, depending on the number of pieces and condition.
