Most Valuable Funko Pops of All Time

They stand around 3.75 inches tall and weigh about 4 ounces of cheap plastic. And they can be worth thousands of dollars. They’re Funko Pop figurines, and they are no joke when it comes to collecting, trading and selling.

The most expensive Funko Pops can get you a used car (and we don’t mean a $500 jalopy) or even an entire house. Maybe. More on that later.

To compile this list of Funko grails, we used Pop Price Guide, a popular, although not definitive, pricing guide to all things Funko. Sometimes the Pop Price Guide will list an item for less than what it’s going for on the market, and it does not always take all sales into consideration. However, it’s still a reliable guide to see what Funko Pops are selling for, as an estimated average.

But like all collectibles, their value can increase or drop to the whims of the market. Regardless, if you have any of these rare, valuable Funko Pops, listed from least to most expensive, you can make quite a sale to the right buyer.

65. Giant Steamboat Willie (Metallic)

Value: $1,140

Bottom Line: Giant Steamboat Willie (Metallic)

Before Mickey Mouse was Mickey Mouse, he was Steamboat Willie, who made his debut in 1928.

Mickey Mouse appeared in the cartoon short "Plane Crazy" that was released in the same year, but "Steamboat Willie" was the successful one.

Now, he's a giant Funko — part of the most valuable collector's items club — and stands a proud 9 inches tall.

The 2011 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive metallic Mickey Mouse variant fetches an average of $1,220 at market, even though it sold in the mid-$300s in 2016.

Two are on the market for $1,500 and $2,150.

63. Dirk Nowitzki

Value: $1,200

Dirk Nowitzki is a retired NBA legend who stands seven feet all in real life, but you can have him in miniature form if you're willing to shell out the big bucks. 

Dirk has sold between $1,000 and less than 1,500 on eBay, while a signed figurine sold for $1,725. 

62. Bone Daddy (Red Suit, Glow-in-the-Dark)

Value: $1,230

Funko’s "Spastik Plastik" line are remakes from its original "kustom kulture" figurines, and this Bone Daddy figurine from that line will put a smile on any collector’s face.

The dapper little red skeleton is wearing a double-breasted red suit, a black tie and a wide grin.

The only recorded sale for this bag of bones went for $1,225 in mid-2018.

61. Captain America (Metallic)

Value: $1,340

Created for the "Captain America: The First Avenger," this San Diego Comic-Con exclusive variant released in 2011 with an edition size of 480.

The metallic Cap might not be too hard to find, but he’s pretty pricey.

60. T-Bone (Metallic)

A variety of strange monsters and animals populate Funko’s "Spastik Plastik" line, and it looks like the metallic T-Bone character is the most expensive.

This one is of a bull with nose ring holding a mighty fine looking T-bone steak. If you can find him, he’ll set you back about $1,460. Or possibly less.

One listed for $1,400 on eBay, but sold for an undisclosed best offer in April 2019.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         

59. Spongebob Squarepants (Metallic)

Bottom Line: Spongebob Squarepants (Metallic)

You wouldn't want to put this Spongebob under the sea. This 2013 "Fan Shellabration" metallic variant is worth more than a month's worth of Krabby Patties.

This guy goes for about $1,500 in the right condition. On eBay, someone is selling one of these figures that has been signed by the "Spongebob Squarepants" original cast for $1,500. 

58. Baby Milo (Flocked)

Value: $1,500

Bottom Line: Baby Milo (Flocked)

The cute little ape from the Bape clothing company is here in Funko form, and he's pretty dang expensive. Flocked versions of this character can be found on eBay from $1,200 to $2,000. 

The regular, non-flocked versions of the adorable creature are worth about $120, according to the Pop Price Guide. 

57. Andy Dwyer (Johnny Karate)

Value: $1,520

Bottom Line: Andy Dwyer (Johnny Karate)

The Andy Dwyer Johnny Karate Funko is a Fugitive Toys exclusive Pop that was only sent out in mystery boxes. 

Less than 100 of the Johnny Karate figures were made out of a batch of 500. The other 400 or so figures were the Andy Dwyer Mouse Shirt figures, which are valued at $470. They were made in late 2019. 

The only Johnny Karate Funko for sale we could find is at What Not, and it has a buy-it-now price of $2,500. 

56. The Thing (Metallic)

Value: $1,590

This metallic Thing from the Fantastic Four in Funko form is a 2011 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive. 

He's pretty rare. A couple sold on eBay for $999 and $972 in October of 2020, while there's a new metallic Funko Thing listing seeking $4,000 for him. 

 

55. Loki (The Avengers)

Value: $1,590

Surprisingly not all that rare, there were 480 of these 2012 San Diego Comic-Con exclusives made, yet it is highly sought after among Pop collectors.

Made in celebration of the first "Avengers" movie, this figure has Loki wearing his gold armor and helmet.

He’s worth at least $1,590, but he can sell for a bit higher. One recently sold for $1,850.

54. Freddy Krueger Freddy Funko

Value: $1,560

Bottom Line: Freddy Krueger Freddy Funko

A grail that haunts the dreams of Pop collectors, this Freddy Krueger Freddy Funko variant features Funko’s mascot in the demon’s iconic green-and-red striped sweater and wielding that finger-knife glove.

This Funko was released in 2011, and pricing varies.

One sold for $3,858.

53. The Mad Hatter Freddy Funko (Glow-in-the-Dark)

Value: $1,620

Bottom Line: The Mad Hatter Freddy Funko (Glow-in-the-Dark)

Created for the 2016 "Alice Through the Looking Glass" movie, this Funko might be more popular than the movie itself. But that’s because it got the Freddy Funko treatment.

The little figure has Freddy dressed up as Johnny Depp’s vision of the Mad Hatter, and he’s holding the chromosphere.

52. Leatherface Freddy Funko (Bloody)

Value: $1,630

Rev up your chainsaw but don’t hurt the box. This Leatherface figurine with Freddy Funko’s hair is ultra-rare.

Made in 2012 and inspired by the "Texas Chainsaw 3D" film of 2013, only 12 of these bloody variants were ever made.

One Leatherface Freddy Funko listed on eBay for $4,000 and sold in May 2019 for an undisclosed best offer.

51. Deadpool Freddy (Grey)

Value: $1,710

This grey-suited variant of Freddy Funko dressed up as Deadpool is a foul-mouthed grail.

Find this "merc with a mouth," and you might be able to net more than $1,700 at auction.

50. Mike Wazowski (Glow-in-the-Dark)

This San Diego Comic-Con Disney Store exclusive variant was limited to 480 pieces. It was made in 2011, and although these are rare, they're not too difficult to find.

They can be found on eBay starting at $1,800. 

49. Kiss Demon Freddy Funko (Glow in the Dark)

When Freddy wants to rock and roll all night, he looks like this. Plus, he glows in the dark.

This Freddy Funko variant has an estimated value of $1,750, but one hopeful Pop shark was trying to hock one for $20,000 on eBay.

The regular, not glow-in-the-dark Pop is also rather valuable and sells for an average of $890.

48. Mr. Incredible (Blue Suit)

Value: $1,790

Of all of "The Incredibles" Pops, the real hero of the bunch — price-wise, at least — is Mr. Incredible’s blue suit variant.

47. Spider-Man (Metallic)

This Spider-Man Funko is a 2011 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive. Only 480 of them were made. 

The price on this one seems to be spot-on, as several have sold for around that price in the past year or so.

One lucky person nabbed one for $235 because they were the only one to bid on this eBay listing. 

46. Ghost Rider Freddy

Value: $1,900

Bottom Line: Ghost Rider

Looks like Freddy Funko made a deal with Mephisto, too. This Freddy Funko/Ghost Rider mashup was released in 2013, after Nicholas Cage declared he was finished playing the hellspawn in those "Ghost Rider" movies.

It’s also around the time that Ghost Rider popped up in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," although this pop is differently dressed.

Whatever the reason might be for this Pop’s curious release date, it’s still expensive as heck.

45. The Notorious B.I.G. (Metallic)

Value: $1,960

Bottom Line: The Notorious B.I.G.

The metallic version of Funko’s Big Poppa is enough to hypnotize even the most frugal collectors.

The Notorious B.I.G. has fetched prices as high as $2,247 when the right buyer is looking.

The non-metallic version is also a prized collector’s item. It has an average price of $340 on eBay.

44. Lotso (Flocked)

Value: $1,960

Bottom Line: Lotso (Flocked)

The Lots-o-Huggin' Bear from "Toy Story 3" is one of the most treasured of all Disney-themed Funkos. But only if he’s flocked. You don’t want to hug plastic, do you?

However, the regular version of Lotso isn’t cheap, either.

That one is worth about $340.

43. Holographic Darth Maul

Value: $1,980

Darth Maul is of the coolest villains to come out of the "Star Wars" prequels and is currently the most expensive "Star Wars" Funko Pop ever made.

Surprisingly, a large number of them were created — 480 of these 2012 San Diego Comic-Con exclusives are in existence.

The Funko’s high price despite this speaks volumes about their desirability.

42. Deadpool Freddy Funko (Orange)

Value: $2,000

The orange version of Freddy Funk dressed as the "regenerating degenerate" Deadpool is ultra-rare.

Only 24 were made of this 2014 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive, and they’re hard to find.  

41. 'The Dark Knight' Joker Freddy Funko (Glow-in-the-Dark)

Value: $2,030

Do you know how Freddy got these scars? Neither do we, but this Freddy Funko from the "Dark Knight" universe is extremely rare.

The regular, not glow-in-the-dark version of this toy sold in 2018 for $1,275.

The last recorded price of one going up for bid was in 2018 at $3,500, but it doesn’t look like it sold.

40. Clone Trooper Freddy Funko (Blue Hair)

Value: $2,030

An ultra-rare figure, this Freddy Funko clad in a "Star Wars" clone trooper uniform with blue hair is estimated to fetch at least $2,030.

Given that we can’t find any up for auction at all, and the non-blue haired version has sold for around $1,300, this grail could fetch a lot more than estimated.

39. 1950s Elvis (Metallic Gold)

Value: $2,070

If you have the King in this black-and-metallic gold Funko form, you can shake rattle and roll to eBay for a decent sum.

This 1950s-era Elvis Presley with a lip curl and gold jacket sells for around $2,070, although one sold on eBay for $3,100.

38. Headless Ned Stark

Value: $2,080

Have a reminder of that "Game of Thrones" shocking end to Season 1 right on your desk (or locked behind glass) with this headless variant of Ned Stark.

This is one of the more popular items on this list, with a large number of Headless Ned Stark Funkos having been bought and sold on eBay.

The average price is $2,080, with many going for around $1,500.

37. Giant Buzz Lightyear with Zurg (Glow-in-the-Dark)

Value: $2,100

Bottom Line: Giant Buzz Lightyear with Zurg (Glow-in-the-Dark)

Buzz Lightyear makes the first, but not the last, appearance on this list in giant form.

The "Toy Story" astronaut figure is 9 inches tall, glows in the dark and comes with a miniature figurine of Zurg, his arch-nemesis.

One of these rare figurines sold for $3,800 in May 2019.

36. Beetlejuice Freddy Funko (Glow-in-the-Dark)

Value: $2,120

If you could say this Pop’s name three times for it to appear, you’d be a bit richer.

The glow-in-the-dark Freddy Funko version of Beetlejuice is hard to find and rarely pops up on eBay.

If it does, expect to pay around $2,500, since that’s how much the last two auctions went for.  

35. Oogie Boogie (Glow-in-the-Dark)

This glow-in-the-dark Oogie Boogie was crafted for the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con.

Only 480 of them were made. However, valuations for this one might be overpriced, as these Oogies have gone for as low as $1,200 as of December 2020. 

34. 1970s Elvis (Glow-in-the-Dark)

This 1970s version of the King has sellers and buyers all shook up.

The cute little Elvis Presley Funko with his iconic white jumpsuit and cape is worth north of $2,000.

33. The Joker Freddy Funko (Glow-in-the-Dark)

This Freddy Funko/Joker mashup takes its inspiration from the 1960s "Batman."

Collectors looking to place his devilish grin in their collection can expect to pay at least $2,220, although one hopeful seller tried to pawn one for $12,000.

32. Hopper (Gold)

Hopper, the grizzled and grumpy cop from "Stranger Things," is quite the rare Funko.

It’s a relatively new release. The item dropped in 2018 at the San Diego Comic-Con. But that doesn’t make it any less expensive.

The estimated value of $2,240 will surely increase, should either of the two listings on Pop Prices’ marketplace — one for $3,700 and another for $4,900 — find a buyer.

31. Winged Monkey Freddy Funko (Metallic)

This ultra-rare metallic blue Freddy Funko dressed as one of the flying monkeys from "The Wizard of Oz" can command much more than the Pop Price Guide’s average price of $2,290.

One sold in 2015 for $4,350.

If you have this Funko Pop crafted in the image of baseball legend Ken Griffey Jr., you could hit a home run at auction.

One of these bronze Funkos of Griffey Jr. sold for $3,000.

29. Batman (Silver)

This Hot Topic exclusive was never made available to the public.

It was only given to certain Hot Topic employees and only 108 were ever made, making it one of the rarest Funkos ever produced.

One sold for $2,500 in 2020. 

28. Deathstroke Freddy Funko (Glow-in-the-Dark)

This glow-in-the-dark variant of Freddy Funko dressed as the popular DC villain, Deathstroke, demands a pretty penny.

On average, the Pop Price Guide believes it will set you back $2,320, although some sellers have looked for much more.

Hal Jordan and his power ring have proven to be formidable opponents for Funko Pop collectors. At least, this version is.

The glow-in-the-dark 2010 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive has sold for over $2,000.

It turns out that Vegeta, a fan favorite from "Dragon Ball Z," also has a very high power rating in the Funko universe. At least its New York Comic-Con Arlia variant does.

This little Saiyan is coveted by Funko and "Dragon Ball Z" collectors alike.

25. Jaime Lannister Freddy Funko

This San Diego Comic-Con exclusive of Freddy Funko as Jaime Lannister from "Game of Thrones" is worth more than a handful of money.

A loose figure was on sale on eBay for $1,500 while one boxed version was looking for a buyer at close to $3,000.

24. Bumble Freddy Funko (Glow-in-the-Dark)

Value: $2,410

Freddy Funko is the Funko company’s mascot, and Funko frequently releases Freddy Funko variants, where Freddy is mashed with another character.

This Bumble Freddy Funko variant is a rare figure that was released in 2012 as a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive. It’s estimated to be worth $2,410 on average, but some sellers tried to get $8,000 for one.

It's based on the abominable snowman, Bumble, from the 1964 Christmas special "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer."

23. Black Ranger Freddy Funko

Value: $2,420

This "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" version of the Black Ranger has a surprisingly high price.

Released in 2017 at the San Diego Comic-Con, only 24 were made.

One sold in 2019 on eBay for $4,300.

22. Batman Freddy Funko

The regular version of the caped crusader is extremely common and sells for its $5 retail price, but the Batman with Freddy Funko’s golden touch sells for much higher.

While Pop Price Guide lists the average price of a Batman Freddy Funko as $2,640, one in mint condition sold for $6,250 on eBay.

21. Dumbo (Gold)

Value: $2,780

Bottom Line: Dumbo (Gold)

Funko’s gold version of "Dumbo" (based on Disney’s 1941 movie, not Tim Burton’s 2019 movie) commands a jumbo price tag.

Sales soared from $710 in 2014 to $3,100 in 2018, and one eBay listing tried to fetch $5,050.

20. Frankenstein Freddy Funko (Glow-in-the-Dark)

Value: $3,060

Funko made their own Frankenstein out of Freddy for the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con. 

This terrifyingly cute monster came in two forms. There was a non-glowing variant, of which 350 were made with each worth about $610, and a glowing variant, of which only 24 were made. 

One of these glowing monsters recently sold on eBay for $3,000. 

19. Purple Haze Jimi Hendrix (Metallic)

Value: $3,080

Purple Haze Jimi Hendrix (Metallic)

This limited edition chase variant of Jimi Hendrix with a purple bandanna has been steadily increasing in price since 2014, when some people made the mistake of selling their metallic Hendrix for as low as $150.

18. Boba Fett Freddy Funko (Red Hair)

Value: $3,120

Bottom Line: Boba Fett Freddy Funko (Red Hair)

The most expensive "Star Wars" Boba Fett figure is the droids variant (which is worth $510), but that has nothing on the Freddy Funko version.

This mashup is worth an estimated $3,120, and only 24 were made. The red-hair variant is supposed to be worth the most, but auctions for the green-haired version are listed for $2,000-$3,495 on eBay. 

17. Frankenberry Freddy Funko (Glow-in-the-Dark)

Value: $3,210

Bottom Line: Frankenberry Freddy Funko (Glow-in-the-Dark)

Funko turned that lovable Frankenstein-esque cereal mascot into a Freddy Funko, and it has proven to be quite coveted.

This cute, pink Freddy/Frankenberry mashup has sold for over $4,400.

16. Ghost Rider Freddy Funko (Metallic)

Value: $3,390

Everyone’s favorite motorcycle riding demon from hell has been given the Freddy Funko treatment.

This metallic version of the toy is a grimacing Freddy, with Ghost Rider’s signature chains and motorcycle jacket.

He was released in 2013 as a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive and sold for $5,600 in 2016.  

15. Frankenberry Freddy Funko (Metallic)

Value: $3,430

Bottom Line: Frankenberry Freddy Funko (Metallic)

This limited edition figure was released in 2011 as a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive.

Unlike the glow-in-the dark version, this one has black eyes and a metallic shine.

14. Tony Stark Freddy Funko (Metallic)

Value: $3,500

This rare metallic Tony Stark Freddy Funko averages for $3,500.

Like Frankeberry, only 12 of them were made, so you’ll be hard-pressed to even find one on eBay.

And we wouldn’t be surprised if they listed it much higher.

13. Boo Berry (Glow-in-the-Dark)

Value: $3,540

An ultra-rare member of Funko’s "Ad Icons" run, the Glow-in-the-Dark Boo Berry might be a top 10 grail.

The Pop Price Guide has this little blue ghost listed for an average price of $3,540, but the last time one sold — at least as far as we can tell — it went for $7,900 in January 2018.

One is for sale at Hobby DB. The price? $15,000.

12. Count Chocula Freddy Funko (Metallic)

Value: $3,780

Bottom Line: Count Chocula Freddy Funko (Metallic)

It looks like Count Chocula beat out Franken Berry and Boo Berry in their cereal-based popularity war for children’s diabetes, at least when it comes to Funko Pops.

Based on the commercials kids love from the ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s, this metallic version of Freddy posing as Count Chocula has sold for up to $6,100.

11. Big Boy Blue Freddy Funko

Value: $3,980

Big Boy Blue Freddy Funko

Funko turned Freddy into the iconic Bob's Big Boy statue from Bob's restaurant for the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con. There were two variants, one with Freddy in a blue apron and one with Freddy in a red apron.

Only 12 of the blue apron variants were made, while 520 figurines of the red apron variants were created.

These things skyrocketed in value fast, with one selling for $4,850 in December 2020 after a 23-bid bidding war on eBay. 

 

10. Buzz Lightyear Freddy Funko (Metallic)

Value: $4,080

Bottom Line: Buzz Lightyear Freddy Funko (Metallic)

Buzz Lightyear once again takes a spot on this list of most expensive Funkos.

This metallic version of Freddy Funko as Buzz Lightyear from Pixar’s "Toy Story" sold for $5,700 and $6,500.

If trends continue, its average sale price will be bumped up. One was on sale for $10,000 on eBay.

9. Apollo Creed Freddy Funko (No Bruises)

Value: $5,010

The Freddy Funko Apollo Creed came in two types: one with bruises and one without. There were 96 made of Apollo Freddy with bruises and only 12 without. 

The bruised edition is rare, but not so rare it never comes up for sale (currently, one is being offered on eBay for $2,000).

But the unbruised Freddy Apollo Creed is as rare as a positive review for "Rocky V." You almost never see it. However, one sold for $6,000 in December 2020.

8. Dumbo (Clown)

Value: $5,270

The expensive variant is based on this scene in Disney’s 1941 "Dumbo," where Dumbo is forced to perform in a circus and escape a burning building.

This one is a 2013 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive, and its highest eBay listing was for $6,000 in late 2018.

He’s so cute — but you know he’s sad behind all that makeup.

7. Buzz Lightyear Freddy Funko (Glow-in-the-Dark)

Value: $6,099

To infinity ... and $6,000! The glow-in-the-dark Freddy Funko version of Buzz Lightyear will fetch a pretty penny at auction, if you can find it on sale.

The last known sale on eBay was for $6,099 in January 2020.

6. Superhero Stan Lee Metallic Red

The chrome red version of superhero Stan Lee is so rare, we couldn't even find a good picture of it. Only 12 of them were ever made, and they pretty much never go up for sale.

The last evidence we found is an archived eBay post where someone put a signed one up for sale.

It's so rare, we're not 100 percent convinced it exists. 

 

 

5. Venom Freddy Funko

Value: $7,500

The Venom Freddy Funko is a Funko Fundays 2019 Comic-Con Exclusive. Only 24 of these grails were made, and they are incredibly difficult to find.

This Freddy Funko is incredibly rare variant of an already incredibly rare Funko. You almost never see this guy go up for sale. According to the Pop Price Guide, one sold in the last two years for $10,000.  

These were issued in 2011, and only 12 of them were made. 

3. Jaime Lannister Freddy Funko (Bloody)

This Freddy variant is of a bloody Jaime Lannister from "Game of Thrones."

It’s a limited variant from the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con, and it can fetch more than double its average $9,300 price tag.

One listing on eBay sold for $20,000 in 2019 and another for $13,500.

2. Alex DeLarge (Glow-in-the-Dark)

This dobby Funko is bezoomy expensive and can net you quite a few gollys for the milk bar. Or that’s something they might say in Anthony Burgess' "A Clockwork Orange," or in the movie adaptation by Stanley Kubrick.

This Funko is based on Kubrick’s vision for Alex DeLarge, the frightening youth clad in white with an affinity for ultraviolence.

The glow-in-the-dark version of this Funko is the most coveted, but the regular Alex also will get you a pretty penny. He’s worth about $2,580.

1. Set of Limited Edition Stan Lee (Metallic) Signed ... Maybe

Value: $99,999

This one has yet to prove its ridiculous asking price. With the passing of Stan Lee in late 2018, items related to the comic legend have increased, or at least have increased by speculative sellers.

The autographed chrome and gold metallic versions of superhero Lee are perfect examples of this. Sellers were trying to hock the figures for $100,000 to $120,000 on eBay. A single signed metallic version was going for $18,000 while the regular, unsigned gold version sells for about $155.

So you could buy a couple of these Funkos and pray they increase in value, or you could buy a house. And also pray it increases in value, but at least you’ll have somewhere to sleep.

Update: These Funkos have been on eBay for a year and nobody is buying them. Good.
